It’s a true sign of spring when the trilliums bloom, and the hummingbirds are back. My goal this summer is to get some more pictures of hummingbirds.

Cat and Mouse – Trail Camera
This was on our trail camera from last night. We had a good chuckle over it – I don’t think it’s a very good mouser. Look closely and you will see the mouse. Notice: no mice were injured in this.

Purple Finches
We have had some purple finches at our feeders lately. The males are brightly coloured, whereas the females do not have the bright colours. I thought maybe I had a picture of a female, but once I looked it up, I don’t believe it is a purple finch. I’ll have to keep looking.
