We had a barred owl in our yard the other day. The last time we had a visit was in 2021, so it was good to see. I wasn’t able to get many pictures but thought I would post these.

My husband saw the owl catch a mouse and eat it, but I wasn’t fast enough getting my camera for it.
As you can see in the next picture, there was a telephone line behind it, which I removed for the top picture. This picture shows how they can twist their heads around quite far.
