A few weeks ago, we had a bit of an ice storm here. You can see the ice on the branches in the first couple of pictures. The chickadees were hanging around for most of the day because of this. They look a bit scruffier than usual, and they didn’t land where the ice was, so I couldn’t get their photo and the icy branches at the same time.
