It’s been hard to get a picture of the chipping sparrow because they are hardly still. The only time I saw them still was in the bird feeder, and occasionally in the trees where it is harder to get a clear picture.

They are a common sparrow to have around, according to the information I found. Apparently they have lived up to 10 years old. It’s hard to imagine that they would live that long.

They do like the seeds that are in the feeder and are spread on the ground. We often see them out there.
