I saw a pair of loons today when I was out in the kayak. They were very accommodating, and came up around my kayak several times. They didn’t seem to care that I was there. Loons are probably one of my favourite birds to photograph. God’s handiwork is amazing.

It’s so nice to see the “summer” birds coming into the area. It’s a real sign of spring/summer. One of the birds we like watching for is the Great Blue Heron. We have a couple on our lake right now.
