As far as I know, this is a sharp-shinned hawk. Apparently it is difficult to know the difference between a Sharp-Shinned Hawk and a Cooper’s Hawk. The river otters are back. When we were out for a walk, there was one resting on the ice and of course, I didn’t have my camera with me. I was able to get a few pictures later, but want to get some better ones as spring continues.
We had a visit from a mink today. It was raining pretty heavy today, and the mink was quite wet. It moved quite quickly and was hard to get a good photo of it.
