
I enjoy going up the river as the mist is rising in the mornings. The light and the mist makes it very interesting.

I believe this plant is called a pickerelweed if I’ve identified it properly. Pickerelweed is part of the water hyacinth family. It has one spike that has small blue flowers on it and it grows about 3 feet tall. It was in shallow water near the edge, which is where they are usually found.
