This fall we visited Sauble Falls Provincial Park. They have a lot to offer the camper – hiking, biking, and canoeing / kayaking in the river. I really enjoyed looking at the falls and practising taking photos of the running water.
The falls are in steps which make it easier for the fish travelling upstream to spawn. If you are there at the right times in the spring and fall you can see rainbow trout and Chinook salmon.
This next picture is one of my favourites as it shows the steps in good detail.
Waterfalls are fascinating. God has put a beautiful world together for us to enjoy.
