We recently enjoyed a trip to Nova Scotia. While we were there, we camped in Digby and went on a boat trip out into the mouth of the Bay of Fundy to look for whales. It was a very foggy day, but we were able to see a couple of humpback whales. They came up to the side of the boat. I found it difficult to get pictures because there were so many people, but I was able to get some of the humpback’s tail as it was diving. Humpbacks are about 40 feet long and about 40 tons.
