I don’t always know what kind of flower a wildflower is – do you? We were recently in Balsam Lake Provincial Park and when we were out on a hike, we noticed some small flowers. They were different colours but basically looked like this:This is a closer view.At first we thought we were seeing different types of flowers, but we discovered some more that were yellow. The leaves looked the same, and the flower looked very similar except for the colo.Altogether, we saw three different colours, all in the same area. They were very pretty. I believe that they are wild violets, but if someone knows what they are for sure, please let me know. We also saw some trilliums. They are beautiful this spring. We haven’t seen too many pink trilliums, so enjoyed seeing these. There were quite a few of them.
